Stone of the Season
The stone of the Spring season is Botanic Green Quartzite for good reason, as the color is bright and fits the season. Botanic Green is an exquisite Brazilian quartzite that is mostly electric green with soft greens and white veins. Since natural stone slabs are a unique production of Mother Nature, slabs of Botanic Green vary in design. Some will boast a jade green color with earthy shades of amber veining, and some may even have hints of deep red across the emerald canvas. It is reminiscent of the South American seascape and therefore evokes a sense of calm and relaxation.
TRENDING BACKSPLASH DESIGN
Simple, sleek designs are replacing busy, patterned backsplashes. Subway tiles and marbles are the new trending backsplash options. Here at Pacific Shore Stones, we have TONS of marble options ranging from simple to intricate vein patterns, so you will find something that fits your style.
Subway tiles have a timeless aesthetic and come in various sizes and shapes, which makes them a versatile choice. On the other hand, marble is eye-catching, and when made continuously with no breaks or gaps, it creates a sophisticated look.
PUNCH OF BLACK
Black is the color to accent your home year-round as it elevates a space. We have recently seen the trend for black kitchens, and it will continue throughout the year. Black is a true designer chameleon. It works with almost all decor to make an updated and chic statement.
Make sure to use a light hand when decorating with black; a little goes a long way. Use it as an accent or as a centerpiece. Black as an accent can be showcased as black cabinetry or décor pieces paired with a quartz, porcelain, or natural stone countertop.
We have Absolute Black Leathered, Black Mist Honed, Brilliant Black, and Black Vermont to name a few. These black countertops can be paired with any color of cabinetry and fixtures and serve as the black centerpiece in the space.
PACIFIC SHORE STONES 20TH ANNIVERSARY
As we celebrate two decades of passion and dedication at Pacific Shore Stones, 2024 has become a milestone year for us. Reflecting on this journey, it’s a moment of pride to share that our founder, Marco, was recently honored with an invitation to share insights at the 2024 Vitória Stone Fair, a significant event in the Luxury Brazilian Stone Market. This invitation holds special meaning as the Vitória Stone Fair of 2004 was where our journey began, marking our first purchasing expedition as we laid the foundation for our company. Fast forward 20 years, it’s a full-circle moment to return to where it all started, this time with a wealth of expertise and deeper involvement in the industry. Marco, representing our original visionaries, took this opportunity to reconnect with and express our gratitude to the suppliers who have been instrumental in our growth. This interaction underscores our continued commitment to the industry and our appreciation for the relationships that have fueled our journey. We are profoundly thankful for being a part of this remarkable industry and for the opportunity to contribute to its evolution over the past two decades.
SAN ANTONIO HOSTS ASID CEU
Our San Antonio team enjoyed hosting an ASID Lunch and Learn on "Achieving Green Building Goals with Natural Stone." Our Natural Stone Institute CEU Certified Speaker, Larry Wallace, gave the presentation on January 25th at our San Antonio Elements Room showroom. The lunch and learn CEU was attended by approximately 30 attendees, primarily interior designers. It was an excellent opportunity for our San Antonio showroom to get more exposure and further connect with the local design community. Many of those in attendance were first-time visitors to our showroom, and we cannot wait to collaborate on future projects with our natural stone, quartz, and porcelain surfaces.
