FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quartzite is a natural metamorphic rock, while quartz countertops are engineered from crushed quartz, resins, and pigments. Quartzite is harder but requires sealing, whereas quartz is non-porous and low-maintenance.
Our Tulsa location proudly serves the Oklahoma City metro, including Tulsa Metro, Broken Arrow, Bixby, Jenks, Owasso, Glenpool, Grand Lake, NW Arkansas, Joplin, Parson, and surrounding communities. Contact us to confirm service to your specific area.
How often do I need to seal my granite countertops?
While granite and quartzite are highly heat-resistant, we always recommend using trivets for hot pots and pans to avoid any risk of thermal shock, which can cause cracking.
Granite and quartzite are excellent choices for outdoor kitchens due to their durability and resistance to UV rays and weathering. We do not recommend using quartz outdoors as the resins can yellow in direct sunlight.
