On Thursday, April 27, fabricators from Tennessee and four surrounding states attended a Stone Summit event at Pacific Shore Stones in Memphis. Hosted in conjunction with the Marble Institute of America and Stone World magazine, the summit offered fabricators the chance to discuss industry issues with peers and gain industry insight and knowledge from the presenter GK Naquin of Stone Interiors.
The day started with breakfast and introductions, followed by an informative town hall discussion. Participants also had the opportunity to tour the warehouse and view the natural stone, quartz and premium surfaces on display. After lunch, the group broke up into smaller discussion forums focussing on topics relevant to the industry, such as safety, sales and marketing, and technical issues. Pacific Shore Stones was honored to host the event, and we look forward to hosting the Stone Summit in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 5.
