Employees from Pacific Shore Stones in Oklahoma City participated in a fundraising walk on Saturday, November 5. The walk was organized by the American Cancer Society to raise money for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative.
The team of four from our Oklahoma City location (Mari Guzman, Yuliana Bravo, Darrel Dougan and Brian Knapp) raised $235 by participating in the 3.1 mile walk. Mari explained that they wanted to participate in the walk to support cancer fundraising, since they all had family members affected by cancer. Over 1300 people attended the walk, and in total the event raised over $85,000.
