Viatera Quartz Countertops, crafted by LX Hausys (formerly known as LG Hausys) using up to 93% natural quartz, blend everyday performance with high-end design. Quartz is one of the hardest minerals on earth, providing exceptional strength. LX Hausys has proudly built a strong U.S. manufacturing presence for more than a decade, investing in American operations, technology, and talent to ensure exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Today, LX Hausys produces Viatera quartz surfaces in state-of-the-art facilities in Adairsville, Georgia. The company operates five U.S. manufacturing plants, including three Viatera quartz plants. This surface is non-porous, meaning it naturally resists stains, scratches, bacteria, and mold. If you accidentally scratch your Viatera surface, a trained professional can easily resurface it because of its sealant-free consistency.

Viatera contains up to 93% natural quartz while natural stone generally contains 20 to 60% quartz. As a result, Viatera tends to have higher tensile strength than natural stone. Quartz is an impervious crystalline mineral that is particularly resistant to absorption, making Viatera extremely stain and scratch resistant. This composition provides exceptional strength and durability that stands up to the demands of daily life, making it a preferred countertop material among builders, designers, and homeowners.

Viatera is non-porous and safe for food preparation, certified by NSF for being safe to be used in direct contact with food. When a material or a seam is porous, food particles can be trapped in the surface material, becoming a breeding ground for bacteria and contamination. Viatera’s non-porous surface naturally resists stains, scratches, bacteria, and mold. Unlike other stone products, Viatera does not require sealing.
