Pacific Shore Stones Fresno holds holiday donation drive with radio station The Blaze

Pacific Shore Stones Fresno held their first annual holiday donation drive on December 11th. Local radio station 105.1 The Blaze Fresno broadcast live from Pacific Shore Stones for two hours during the donation drive. Rainy weather didn’t dampen spirits as the team set up balloons, signs and slabs of marble and granite on the corner outside to hand out free coffee in exchange for donations. Later in the morning, free tacos were on offer from the taco truck for anyone donating to the cause.  Donations of new or gently used toys, clothes, blankets or monetary donations were collected to benefit local families through Pastor Anna Lopez and the Beauty for Ashes ministry.

Organiser Christina Ruelas said: “The day started early with a 6am trip to The Blaze studios to promote the event and meet breakfast presenter DJ Gus. Then we set up the coffee stand and worked throughout the day to collect donations, hosting DJ Izzy’s show at our location later that day with many donations received. We look forward to doing this again next year to help local families in need.”
